Ryosuke Tanaka is the founder and CEO of Metro Engines Inc., He has graduated from Sydney University in Australia in 2007 and he has began his career as a financial consultant. After obtaining CPA qualification in 2008, he joined Macquarie Capital, an Australian Investment Bank where he was responsible for the Financial Sector research. After three years, he then moved to London to work for an investment management company Wellington Management as a fund manager in global financial stocks, and he has worked for 2 years before he decided to become an entrepreneur, in 2013. He founded and exited several companies in Thailand, Taiwan, and HK, before founding JP MOBILE in Japan, the former company of Metro Engines, where he has raised JPY150 million. He spin off vacation rental businesses from JP MOBILE and led MBO with an investor when he founded Metro Engines in Oct 2016.
